Full of nutrient rich ingredients to nourish and support healthy skin all with ingredients from the kitchen!                                                                                       

  •         Avocado and Honey

The avocado is full of natural oils and Vitamins A and E that help soften, repair and hydrate the skin fixing those dry patches. Honey is extremely moisturising and soothing. It also has antibacterial properties so it’s great for acne too.

Method: Mash half an avocado and add a tablespoon of honey to form a paste. Apply to skin and rinse with warm water after 15 minutes. Pat dry

  •     Banana and Honey

Bananas are packed with potassium and Vitamins A & B which work to moisturise, fight free radicals, even out skin tone and prevent blemishes. As mentioned above honey is moisturising and antibacterial.

Method: Mix one mashed banana with a tablespoon of honey. Apply and leave on your face for 15 minutes. Rinse with warm water and pat dry.

  •        Oatmeal (quick oats), Honey and Yoghurt

Oats are a great exfoliator as well as being soothing, itch relieving and moisturising. They also contain antioxidants and anti-inflammatory properties so are perfect for dry, itchy, irritated or sensitive skin. Honey is moisturising, hydrating and antibacterial. Yoghurt contains lactic acid which makes the skin soft and supple. It contains zinc which helps prevent blemishes. This mask minimises pores and moisturisers. 

Method: Mix one tablespoon of oats, honey and yoghurt. Apply in a thick layer and leave it on for 15 minutes. To get a more intensive exfoliation massage in gentle circular motions prior to rinsing. Rinse with warm water and pat dry.

  • Brown Sugar and Olive Oil Scrub

Brown Sugar is a great exfoliator and also contains glycolic acid which helps cell turnover revealing bright, glowing skin. It is a natural humectant which hydrates and moisturises the skin. Olive Oil is rich in Vitamin E and essential fatty acids which makes it a fantastic skin moisturiser. Have a breakout? Add a dash of honey for its antibacterial properties. 

Method: Mix one tablespoon of brown sugar with one teaspoon of olive oil. Apply gentle circular motions. Rinse off with warm water after 10-15 minutes and pat dry.

  • Coconut Oil and Avocado

Coconut oil is nourishing, naturally antibacterial and antifungal. It is also rich in vitamins A and K. It makes a fantastic moisturiser and helps with collagen production. Avocado protects against the free radicals that cause aging and softens, repairs and hydrates the skin.

Method: Mash ½ ripe avocado with one teaspoon of virgin coconut oil. Apply to face and rinse after 15 minutes with warm water. Pat dry.
